Respected sir, I hope you’re doing well. Due to the change in weather, I’ve been suffering from the flu for the past week. Every time I go back from work, I take my medicine and go to sleep in hopes of waking up with better health. However, my cold has further turned into a cough and fever-like symptoms. Because of this very reason I’m unable to come to work today. I’m going to be taking antibiotics for at least two days and get complete bed rest. Hopefully, I’ll be back in the office the day after tomorrow. I really hope you understand my circumstances and grant me leave for today and tomorrow.

Dear sir, unfortunately, I’m unable to concentrate at work since yesterday. It is all because of my cold, sore throat, and cough. For me, it’s very concerning as we had guests over about a week ago and later, I found out one of them was suffering from COVID-19. I fear I might be corona positive as well. Please grant me leave today so I can get myself tested at a lab. Thank you in advance.

Respected Sir, although I’m vaccinated, I recently started having a very bad cough and cold. Quite frankly, I think it might be COVID. But just to be sure I’ve taken the test and will get my results back soon. Until then, for today, please allow me a day from work so everyone is safe. I hope to get back on my work timeline as soon as my results turn out to be negative.

Dear sir, I’m writing this to inform you about my bad health condition today. I apologize for not being active at work lately, but my cold and cough are what’s keeping me lagging at work. Kindly grant me a leave for one day only so I can take doctor’s appointments and get checked. Hopefully, I will be able to concentrate more at work after a checkup. Respected sir, I hope this message finds you in good health. I’m not physically feeling good at all. My cold is now making my body fatigued and exhausted. The coughing has increased, and I fear it is not just because of the change of season but something more severe. The medicines I’m taking only make me drowsy and lethargic. I’m afraid I won’t be able to make it to work today. I apologize for being absent, but I really hope you understand my condition and grant me a leave for today only.

Dear sir, I know every hour counts in the office especially these days as the workload is much. I wouldn’t request a day off unless it was an absolute emergency. But I’ve been suffering from colds and coughs for the past week. I’ve been coming into the office ever since but today I’m sorry I won’t be able to make it.
